Vivien Heilbron Biography
Vivien Heilbron is a Scottish actress born on May 13, 1944, in Glasgow. She gained recognition for her role as Chris Guthrie in the 1971 BBC Scotland television series Sunset Song, based on Lewis Grassic Gibbon's novel. Heilbron's performance in the show helped raise the publicity of Gibbon's work, putting him on the school curriculum. She also appeared in the sequels Cloud Howe and Grey Granite. In the early 1980s, Heilbron portrayed district nurse Kay Grant in the Scottish Television soap opera Take The High Road. Her film credits include the 1971 film Kidnapped alongside Michael Caine, and the 1978 film Just a Gigolo, starring Rutger Hauer and Sylvia Kristel. She also appeared in the 1998 comedy The Sea Change with Ray Winstone.
