Vivienne Tam

Vivienne Tam is a fashion designer based in New York City. She was born in Guangzhou, China on November 28, 1957, and later moved to Hong Kong. Tam attended the Hong Kong Polytechnic University before establishing her own fashion brand named after her. Her designs are known for their fusion of Chinese culture, modern fashion, and East-West influences. In her book 'China Chic,' Tam explores the intersection of Chinese and Western styles, drawing inspiration from her mother's cheongsam. She has collaborated with Hewlett-Packard to create a range of designer netbook computers and has appeared on the dressup site Stardoll. Tam's unique designs have also been featured in various movies and TV shows.
