Vladimir Mashkov Biography
Vladimir Lvovich Mashkov is a Soviet and Russian actor and theater director. Born on November 27, 1963, in Tula, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union (now Russia), Mashkov made his debut on stage as a child and performed with his parents in the Novokuznetsk Puppet Theater. He is known to Western audiences for his work in the 2001 film Behind Enemy Lines and the 2011 film Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. Mashkov has also worked as a film director, producer, and writer for the 2004 Russian film Papa. In addition to his career in the entertainment industry, Mashkov is noted for his public support of Vladimir Putin and Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
