Walter Olkewicz Biography
Walter Olkewicz (May 14, 1948 – April 6, 2021) was an American character actor known for his roles in various television shows and films. He played the character Marko in the short-lived TV series Wizards and Warriors and portrayed Coach Wordman in the feature film Making the Grade. Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, Olkewicz attended Catholic grammar school and St. Peter's Preparatory School before graduating from Bayonne High School in 1965. He pursued higher education at Saint Mary of the Plains College and Colorado State University. Prior to his acting career, Olkewicz worked in insurance sales, office supplies, and as a taxi driver. He co-founded the improvisational group Saturday Bath and appeared in films such as Futureworld, The Greatest, Summer Camp, Hot T-Shirts, and The Client.
