Wanda Opalinska

Wanda Opalinska is an English-Polish actress known for her role as Polish immigrant and Underworld factory worker Wiki Dankowska in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street. She attended drama school before studying English at the University of Birmingham from 1988 to 1991. Opalinska then became a qualified English teacher and taught in South London. She taught English and Drama at St Thomas More R.C. Secondary School before moving to Whitgift School where she became the first House Mistress in the school's 400-year history. Opalinska joined Coronation Street as a seamstress at the Underworld factory and made her first on-screen appearance as Wiki on 26 February 2007.
