Wendi Peters

Wendi Louise Peters (born 29 February 1968) is an English actress known for her versatile career in theatre, television, and film. Peters first gained recognition through her theatre performances in productions such as The Scarlet Pimpernel (1991), Guys and Dolls (1991), Into the Woods (1992), Bedroom Farce (1996), and Noises Off (1997). From 2003 to 2007, she captivated audiences with her portrayal of Cilla Battersby-Brown in the popular ITV soap opera Coronation Street. Following her departure from the show, Peters showcased her culinary skills on Celebrity MasterChef and later returned to the stage for various touring productions and West End roles. She reprised her iconic role of Cilla in 2014 and showcased her talent in the CBBC series Hetty Feather from 2015 to 2017. Currently, Peters can be seen captivating audiences as Nina Bulsara in the BBC daytime soap opera Doctors.
