Wendy Pepper

Wendy Pepper (August 23, 1964 – November 12, 2017) was a fashion designer and television personality. She gained recognition as a contestant on the first season of Project Runway, a reality television show that aired from December 2004 to February 2005. Born in Dayton, Ohio, Pepper lived in Middleburg, Virginia. She attended The Madeira School and the University of Washington, where she earned a degree in anthropology. While studying abroad in Nepal, Pepper developed an interest in design and fabric. She won two challenges on Project Runway, including the Banana Republic challenge and the Grammy dress for Nancy O'Dell.More
