Wendy Robie Biography
Wendy Robie is an American actress known for her role as Nadine Hurley in David Lynch's television series Twin Peaks and its prequel film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. She also appeared in Wes Craven's films The People Under the Stairs and Vampire in Brooklyn. Born on October 6, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Robie grew up on a ranch in northern California where Arabian horses were raised. She studied theater arts at the College of Marin and later earned a degree in English literature. Robie worked as an English teacher for ten years before pursuing acting. She auditioned for Twin Peaks while living in Seattle and appeared in 22 episodes of the series. In 2017, Robie returned to Twin Peaks in the revival series Twin Peaks: The Return.
