Wes Brown, born Wesley Michael Brown on October 13, 1979, is an English former professional footballer known for his career as a defender. Brown started his professional journey at Manchester United, joining their academy in 1992. Making his senior debut in 1998, he became a regular player during the 1998–99 season when the club achieved the Treble. After a period of injury, Brown returned to become a key player from 2000 onwards, winning several titles including four Premier League titles, an FA Cup, a League Cup, and another Champions League. He played for Manchester United for 15 years before moving to Sunderland. Brown also represented England at the 2002 World Cup and the UEFA Euro 2008 qualifiers.
