Wesley Snipes Biography
Wesley Trent Snipes is an American actor known for his role as Blade in the Blade film trilogy (1998–2004). Born on July 31, 1962, Snipes has appeared in various notable films, including Major League (1989), New Jack City (1991), White Men Can't Jump (1992), and Demolition Man (1993). He also starred in the television series The Player (2015). Snipes received a nomination for Best Supporting Male at the Independent Spirit Awards for his work in The Waterdance (1992) and won the Volpi Cup for Best Actor for his performance in One Night Stand (1997). In addition to his acting career, Snipes is a martial artist, holding a 5th dan black belt in Shotokan Karate and a 2nd dan black belt in Hapkido. He founded the production company Amen-Ra Films in 1991.
