Whip Hubley, born Grant Shelby Hubley Jr., is an American actor known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. He was born in New York City to Julia Kaul and Grant Shelby Hubley. Whip attended the Buckley School for Boys in Manhattan and later Montclair Academy in Montclair, New Jersey. He is the brother of actress Season Hubley and the former brother-in-law of Kurt Russell. Whip's notable film roles include Mischa in the 1987 film Russkies and Hollywood in the 1986 film Top Gun. He also appeared as Brian Hawkins in the Showtime miniseries More Tales of the City (1998) and its follow-up Further Tales of the City (2001).
