Widow Von'Du Biography
Ray Anthony Fry, born on April 17, 1989, is an American drag performer widely known as Widow Von'Du. Fry gained recognition for competing on the twelfth season of RuPaul's Drag Race. He has also achieved titles such as Queen of KC at Kansas City Pridefest and Princess of Gay Pride 2008. Fry created the local 'Drag Survivor' competition at Hamburger Mary's KC. After auditioning for season 11 unsuccessfully, he was announced as a cast member on season 12 of RuPaul's Drag Race. In September 2020, Fry joined other Black RuPaul's Drag Race alumni in a PSA against toxic and racist fans in the Drag Race community. Aside from his drag career, Fry pursued capoeira for six years and experienced a period of homelessness. On May 31, 2021, Fry was arrested in Jackson County, Missouri, for assaulting his partner.
