Will Lyman Biography
Will Lyman (born May 20, 1948) is an American actor known for his polished, resonant voice. He has been the narrator for the PBS series Frontline since 1984 and portrayed William Tell in the television series Crossbow. Lyman was born in Burlington, Vermont, and graduated from Boston University School of Fine and Applied Art in 1971. He began his film career with a small role in Jaws (1975) and appeared in various daytime TV soap operas. Lyman also narrated the acclaimed documentary series Vietnam: A Television History (1983). In addition to his acting work, he was a first-chair bass player with several symphonic and chamber orchestras.
