Will Sharpe

Will Sharpe is an English actor, writer, and director born on September 22, 1986. He gained recognition for his work in various film and television projects. After writing for comedy shows and appearing in Casualty, he directed his first feature film, Black Pond, in 2011. Sharpe received critical acclaim for his comedy-drama Flowers on Channel 4 in 2016. He went on to star in BBC Two's Defending the Guilty (2018–2019) and Giri/Haji (2019), for which he received a British Academy Television Award. In 2021, Sharpe directed the film The Electrical Life of Louis Wain and the miniseries Landscapers. He also starred in The White Lotus (2022), earning a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Sharpe was born in London and raised in Tokyo before moving back to the UK and studying at Winchester College.
