William Brangham

William Brangham (born 1968) is an American journalist and correspondent for the PBS NewsHour. He has extensive experience in television production, having worked as a producer for various PBS programs. Brangham's notable accolades include a Peabody Award in 2015 and multiple News & Documentary Emmy Awards in 2017, 2019, and 2020. He pursued his education at Colorado College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English language and literature. Brangham kickstarted his career as a research assistant and later became an associate producer and field producer for Bill Moyers documentaries. His work includes contributions to programs such as Listening to America with Bill Moyers and On Our Own Terms: Moyers on Dying in America, among others.
