William Forward
William Forward was a prominent MP in the Irish Parliament, representing the St. Johnstown Constituency in County Donegal. Born to Lieutenant Colonel John Forward and Anne Forward, he hailed from a notable family with extensive land ownership in County Donegal. He was married to Isabella Stewart, who had familial connections to Bart. William Stewart. The couple had a daughter named Alice, who went on to marry Viscount Wicklow Ralph Howard and became the Countess of Wicklow. Forward's family owned 6,000 acres in the barony of Raphoe, which eventually passed on to Alice and the Earls of Wicklow.
