William Gaminara Biography
William Gaminara is a Rhodesian-born British actor, screenwriter, and playwright. He is best known for his portrayal of pathologist Professor Leo Dalton on the television series Silent Witness from 2002 to 2013. Gaminara was born in Lusaka, Northern Rhodesia in 1956 and later attended Winchester College in Hampshire, England, and Lincoln College at the University of Oxford. He has had minor roles in films such as Comrades (1986) and has appeared in various television shows including Casualty (1989–92) and Attachments (2000–02). Gaminara's most notable role was as Professor Leo Dalton in Silent Witness, a role he played for over a decade.
