William H. Macy Biography
William H. Macy (born March 13, 1950) is an American actor. He is known for his roles in small, independent films as well as mainstream movies. Some of his notable performances include Fargo (1996), Air Force One (1997), Boogie Nights (1997), Magnolia (1999), Jurassic Park III (2001), Seabiscuit (2003), Thank You for Smoking (2005), and The Lincoln Lawyer (2011). Macy has received two Emmy Awards and four Screen Actors Guild Awards. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Fargo. From 2011 to 2021, Macy portrayed Frank Gallagher in the Showtime series Shameless. Macy is married to Felicity Huffman since 1997.
