William Ragsdale Biography
William Ragsdale (born January 19, 1961) is an American actor known for his roles in various films and television shows. He gained prominence for his portrayal of Charley Brewster, a teenaged vampire slayer, in the horror film Fright Night (1985) and its sequel. Ragsdale also appeared in the television series Herman's Head (1991–94), where he played the character Herman Brooks. He attended Hendrix College and participated in plays alongside Natalie Canerday. In addition to his film and television work, Ragsdale has also performed on stage, notably in Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs and Biloxi Blues. He has had recurring roles in shows like Judging Amy and Grosse Pointe.
