William Madans Utay, born September 7, 1947, is an American film, stage, and television actor hailing from Dallas, Texas. Utay is best known for his portrayal of 'Dr. Wilhelm Rolf' in the acclaimed American soap opera, Days of Our Lives. He honed his acting skills while studying theatre at Southern Methodist University and later moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where he performed at the Charles Playhouse. In 1982, Utay made his on-screen debut in the sitcom Filthy Rich and went on to have notable television appearances, including the recurring role of 'Phil Sanders' in Night Court. Utay's versatility shone through when he portrayed 'Will Sanders,' the crooked evil twin of his character Phil.
