William Vanderpuye Biography
William Vanderpuye, also known as Will Vanderpuye or Will Vanders, is a British actor, broadcaster, writer, voice-over artist, and producer. He is best known for his role as Zoomer and various other characters in the BBC animation series Rastamouse. Vanderpuye also appeared as 'Kobi' in the Bafta-nominated BBC series Apple Tree House, which he co-created, co-wrote, and co-produced. Born into a prestigious Ghanaian family, he is the grandson of Jacob Sylvanus Bruce-Vanderpuye, a Barrister-at-Law, Djastse, and Ga Mantse (Paramount Chief) of The Otubluhun Stool. Vanderpuye's family has a rich history, with ties to King Robert the Bruce of Scotland and the Vanderpuyes being Kings of Elmina. Throughout his career, Vanderpuye has shown versatility and talent across various mediums.
