Xochitl Gomez (born April 29, 2006) is an American actress. Born in Los Angeles, she began acting at the age of five, participating in local musical theater productions and student films. In 2018, Gomez made her professional debut in the TV show Raven's Home. She gained recognition and won a Young Artist Award for her role in the movie Shadow Wolves (2019). In 2020, she starred in Netflix's acclaimed series The Baby-Sitters Club. Gomez further solidified her career with her portrayal of America Chavez in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022). With Mexican heritage, she was raised in Hollywood and later moved to Echo Park. Gomez credits her upbringing for her strong Mexican influences and her ability to speak Spanish fluently.
