Yareli Arizmendi Biography
Yareli Arizmendi (born 1964) is a Mexican actress, writer, and director. She was born in Mexico City and attended high school in Kansas before receiving her BA in Political Science and MFA in Theatre from the University of California, San Diego. Arizmendi is best known for her role as Rosaura in the film 'Like Water for Chocolate'. She also co-wrote, produced, and played Lila Rodriguez in 'A Day Without a Mexican'. Arizmendi has appeared in various television shows including 'Six Feet Under', 'House', 'The Agency', '24', and 'Medium', as well as films such as 'Don't Let Me Drown', 'AMERICA', and 'Naco es Chido'. She has also worked with Luis Valdez and Teatro Campesino and toured with Teatro de la Esperanza.
