Yogi Babu

Yogi Babu is an Indian actor and comedian known for his appearances in Tamil films. Born on July 22, 1985, in Arani, Babu's father served in the Indian Army, leading to his frequent travels during his childhood. He studied in Jammu in the early 1990s. Babu began his career as an assistant director in the Lollu Sabha and worked as a scene writer for two years. He made his feature film debut in the movie Yogi (2009) and adopted the film's name as a prefix for his stage name. Babu has won the Ananda Vikatan Cinema Award three times for his performances in Aandavan Kattalai (2016), Kolamavu Kokila (2018), and Pariyerum Perumal (2018). On February 5, 2020, he married Manju Bhargavi in a private ceremony at their ancestral temple in Tiruttani.
