Yunjin Kim is a South Korean-born American film and theater actress, born on November 7, 1973, in Seoul, South Korea. She is widely recognized for her portrayal of Sun-Hwa Kwon on the acclaimed American television series Lost and as the North Korean spy Bang-Hee in the South Korean film Shiri. Kim has also appeared in popular TV shows such as Mistresses and XO, Kitty. After immigrating to the United States with her family in the early 1980s, Kim attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in Manhattan. She further honed her acting skills at the London Academy of Performing Arts and earned her BFA degree in drama from Boston University.
