Yūsaku Yara is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and narrator from Tokyo, Japan. He was born on March 16, 1948, with his real name being Susumu Kawabe. Yara is best known for his roles in various anime series and films. Some of his notable works include Sagittarius Aiolos in Saint Seiya, Hiroshi Sakura in Chibi Maruko-chan, Renzaburō Taki in Wicked City, and Gillian Seed in Snatcher. He has also lent his voice to characters like Kiteretsu's Papa in Kiteretsu Daihyakka and Jacky Zalshiev in Fang of the Sun Dougram.
