Yvonne Wilder

Yvonne Wilder (born Yvonne Othon, September 21, 1937 – November 24, 2021) was an American actress, comedian, writer, and artist. She gained recognition for her role as Anita in the first international touring company of West Side Story. Wilder appeared in the 1961 film adaptation of West Side Story, where she played the character Consuelo. Born in the Bronx, New York City, Wilder attended the High School for Performing Arts and received further training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She had a successful career in American television from the 1960s to the 1990s, with numerous appearances in popular TV shows. Yvonne Wilder was known for her diverse talents and contributions to the entertainment industry.
