Zach Filkins

Zach Filkins is an American musician, actor, and songwriter, best known as the guitarist for the pop rock band OneRepublic. Born on September 15, 1978, he spent a significant part of his childhood studying classical guitar in Barcelona, Spain. He attended Colorado Springs Christian High School, where he met future bandmate Ryan Tedder during their senior year. Together, they formed a band called 'This Beautiful Mess' and started performing small gigs. After high school, Filkins and Tedder pursued different paths in college. In 2010, Filkins and his wife Lindsay welcomed their son, Leighton. He has openly thanked and acknowledged her in the liner notes of OneRepublic's debut album, Dreaming Out Loud.
