Zak Orth, born Adam Zachary Orth on October 15, 1970, is an American actor known for his roles in Wet Hot American Summer, The Baxter, Melinda and Melinda, In and Out, Music and Lyrics, and NYC 22. He gained popularity for his portrayal of Aaron in the NBC television drama Revolution. Orth was born in Libertyville, Illinois, to Jane, a piano teacher, and Robert Orth, an opera singer. He studied at The Theatre School at DePaul University. Orth has collaborated with the comedy group Stella and appeared in their short films and TV series. He also had a brief role in Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet. Additionally, he is part of The Doilies, a musical comedy group co-founded with Michael Showalter.
