Zaqi Ismail

Zaqi Ismail is an English actor of Indian descent. He graduated from Rose Bruford College in 2015. Ismail appeared in the stage production 'This Language' at the Camden Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe in August 2015. He has an elder sister who is deaf, and is proficient in British Sign Language. In October 2015, Ismail portrayed the character of Lunn, interpreting for deaf crew-leader Cass in the Doctor Who series 9 two-part story 'Under the Lake' / 'Before the Flood'. He also plays Ahsan in the TV show 'We Are Lady Parts'.
