Zita Hanrot is a French actress born on December 7, 1989. She won the César Award for Most Promising Actress in 2016 for her role in the film Fatima. Hanrot studied history of art briefly before enrolling at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris in 2011, graduating in 2014. She appeared in commercials, including a French army campaign alongside Karl E. Landler. Inspired by actress Béatrice Dalle, Hanrot made her film debut in Radiostars (2012) and went on to have minor roles in The New Girlfriend (2013) and Eden (2014). Her breakthrough came in Fatima (2015), winning her critical acclaim.
