Zubin Varla
Zubin Varla is a British actor and singer born in 1970. He is known for his portrayal of Judas in the 1996 West End revival of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Lyceum Theatre. Varla was trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has also appeared in West End productions of Cyrano de Bergerac and Julius Caesar. He originated the role of Saleem in the first written-for-stage production of Midnight's Children at London's Barbican Theatre. Varla has also starred as Frederick Trumper in the 2001 Danish Tour of the musical Chess and played Daniel Doyce in the BBC TV adaptation of Charles Dickens' Little Dorrit in 2008. He has also made appearances in the TV series Silent Witness.
