Armageddon Time

Set in 1980 Queens, Armageddon Time follows Jewish-American sixth grader Paul as he forms a friendship with a rebellious African-American classmate, prompting tensions with his privileged family. Inspired by the director's childhood, the coming-of-age drama examines family expectations, social inequality, racial prejudice, and a boy's personal navigation of changing loyalties.
