After robbing a gangster's poker den, partners Faye and Johnny part ways when Faye betrays Johnny and flees with the cash. Hunted by a notorious, aging assassin known as the Fixer, Faye encounters Blanche, an affable yet unpredictable truck-stop waitress whose involvement complicates the fugitives' attempts to escape and survive.
