Haru and Luis compete in Tokyo's ballroom dance community until a tragedy drives Haru into isolation. Urged back by friends, she returns to the studio and becomes drawn to a new instructor, forcing her to confront grief, shifting loyalties, and emerging desire amidst rehearsals, performances, and personal reckoning and uncertainty.
