Home Stories follows teenager Lea, whose inability to define herself during a televised singing audition prompts role‑playing and a search for identity. Her aunt Kati returns as head architect to renovate the Residenzschloss, reuniting family members and intersecting with grandparents' efforts to revive their struggling pension in former East Germany.
