Jaripeo

Jaripeo is a documentary by Efraín Mojica and Rebecca Zweig that examines the jaripeo, a Michoacán rodeo tradition marked by machismo. Through observational footage and personal encounters, the film traces queer desire, memory, and quiet resistance as participants negotiate masculine norms, community ties, and the search for belonging and identity.
