Lava

Lava is a 2014 animated musical short film written and directed by James Ford Murphy and produced by Pixar Animation Studios and Andrea Warren. Set to an original song, it narrates a romance between volcanic islands unfolding over millions of years, inspired by tropical landscapes, ocean volcanoes, and Hawaiian tradition.
