Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is a 2008 American animated adventure comedy film and the sequel to Madagascar. The movie follows the adventures of Alex, Marty, and other zoo animals as they make their way to the African continent after escaping Madagascar. Once there, they encounter members of their own species for the first time, leading them to question whether Africa is a better home than their beloved Central Park.
