Salmokji: Whispering Water follows a road-view film crew who travel to a remote reservoir to reshoot unusable footage. While reviewing recordings they detect unfamiliar figures and distorted images absent from their memories. Investigating the dark, deep waters, the crew encounters a presence linked to the reservoir's local folklore and history.
