Spoken Word

Spoken Word is a 2009 drama film directed by Victor Nuñez and stars Kuno Becker, Ruben Blades, Miguel Sandoval, and Persia White. The story revolves around Cruz Montoya, a Latino spoken-word artist who returns to New Mexico to support his dying father, but finds himself drawn back into a life of drugs and violence, leading to a loss of his artistic expression.
