The Astronaut

The Astronaut is a 2025 American science fiction horror film directed by Jess Varley. The plot follows astronaut Sam Walker, portrayed by Kate Mara, who returns to Earth after a harrowing space mission. She is placed under NASA's care in a high-security facility for rehabilitation. During her stay, unexplained and disturbing incidents suggest that an extraterrestrial entity may have accompanied her back from space.
