The Holdovers2023

The Holdovers is a heartwarming comedy-drama set in a New England prep school during Christmas break. Directed by Alexander Payne and written by David Hemingson, the film tells the story of Paul Hunham, a grumpy instructor who is forced to stay on campus to take care of the few students who have nowhere else to go. As the break progresses, Paul forms an unlikely bond with a troubled and intelligent troublemaker student, as well as the school's head cook, who is grieving the loss of her son in the Vietnam War.
