The Outpost

The Outpost depicts a small U.S. Army unit at Combat Outpost Keating in Afghanistan confronting a coordinated Taliban assault during the 2009 Battle of Kamdesh. Based on Jake Tapper's nonfiction account, the film follows soldiers' actions during the attack and efforts to hold the remote, vulnerable outpost under harrowing conditions.
