True Grit

True Grit is a 2010 American Western film directed, written, produced, and edited by Joel Coen and Ethan Coen, based on the 1968 novel of the same name by Charles Portis. The story follows a determined 14-year-old girl, Mattie Ross, as she seeks justice for her father's murder by hiring the tough and alcoholic Deputy U.S. Marshal Reuben J. 'Rooster' Cogburn to track down the killer, Tom Chaney.
