Government Cheese is a historical surrealist comedy-drama series that follows the life of Hampton Chambers, a formerly incarcerated burglar who returns to his family in 1969. Attempting to reintegrate into society and win back his family's trust, Chambers faces numerous challenges from his past and new threats, all while relying on moments of unexpected divine intervention.
