What is Kota Factory about?

Kota Factory is an Indian web series created and produced by The Viral Fever (TVF). The five-part black-and-white series is India's first to be filmed in this monochromatic style, offering a unique viewing experience. The narrative follows protagonist Vaibhav, a 16-year-old student hailing from the small town of Itarsi, who moves away from home to the city of Kota, Rajasthan—known as the hub for various coaching centres preparing students for India's highly competitive engineering entrance exams. Vaibhav aims to crack the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) exams. The series is a poignant tale that delves into the rigorous academic culture in Kota, and the pressure-cooker environment students endure.
