What is The Cleaning Lady (TV) About?
The Cleaning Lady is a story of adaptation, survival, and motherhood. The main character Thony (Elodie Yung) is a Cambodian doctor, who comes to the U.S. trying to get treatment for her son with a rare illness. Thony, initially in search of a medical cure, finds herself in the midst of criminal operations when she takes up a job as a cleaning lady. In this line of work, she isn’t mopping floors, rather she cleans crime scenes for an illegal network of the mob. The roller-coaster plot takes its viewers on a journey of Thony's audacious transformation, all in an attempt to secure an American dream for her ailing son. Produced by Warner Bros.
