The Rising of the Shield Hero

The Rising of the Shield Hero is a popular anime series based on a light novel of the same name. The story follows Iwatani Naofumi, an ordinary otaku who is summoned to a fantasy world to become the Shield Hero. Alongside other heroes, he must battle against the Waves of Catastrophe that threaten the land. However, Naofumi's journey takes a dark turn when he is betrayed and loses everything. Determined to defy his circumstances, he forms an unlikely alliance with a slave named Raphtalia and sets out to overcome the challenges before him.
