The Westies

The Westies is a crime drama television series set in early 1980s Hell\'s Kitchen, New York. It follows the Westies Irish-American gang as construction of the Jacob Javits Convention Center promises profits and tensions rise with the Five Families of the Italian Mafia. Internal strife between rising young members and established leadership intersects with an FBI investigation, while two childhood friends take divergent paths as a police officer and a gang member.
